Eight Festive Themes For Les Grands Feux Loto-Québec's 30th Edition

Quebec City, June 9, 2026 – This summer, Les Grands Feux Loto‑Québec celebrate an exceptional milestone: 30 years of wonder, music and emotion! To mark this anniversary in style, the event is proud to unveil the eight festive and high‑energy themes that will set the Capitale‑Nationale alight from August 4 to 22, 2026.

Place des Canotiers in Quebec City and Quai Paquet in Levis will be transformed into vibrant celebration sites, animated by engaging and lively activities showcasing local talent and artisans. Entirely free of charge, these activities will build excitement on both shores ahead of the pyromusical shows, which will light up the sky at nightfall. An eclectic and inclusive program, reflecting the spirit of our Capitale‑Nationale.

Each evening, starting at 6 p.m., the public is invited to immerse themselves in the world of Les Grands Feux and enjoy:

• an electrifying musical atmosphere with DJs, bands and musicians;

• bold themed entertainment across all sites;

• food trucks and bars to satisfy every craving;

• performances highlighting the exceptional talent of local artists.

New this year: two festive Saturdays, August 15 and 22, will feature special programming starting at noon for festivalgoers to enjoy. On August 22, for the grand finale of this anniversary edition, get ready to experience the largest pyromusical event ever presented in Quebec City! For 30 minutes, the sky will light up in a breathtaking show filled with stunning sequences, surprises, and an emotional roller coaster. An immersive, spectacular experience that promises to dazzle from start to finish!

Opening Night

Tuesday, August 4: Rock ’N’ Roll

To kick off this 30th edition, we’re turning the amps all the way up! On the agenda: live music performances, tattoos, air guitar contests and rock classics to get your fists pumping and your feet stomping. Pull out your leather jackets, ripped jeans and vintage tees and let yourself be swept away by the electrifying atmosphere. Get ready to rock the night away!

Thursday, August 6: Fiesta Latina

Vibrant colours, infectious rhythms and a muy caliente atmosphere take over the night! Dance performances and classes, Latin karaoke and a barber station will set the mood from head to toe. Let the energy move you, dance to fiery beats and enjoy a festive atmosphere where joie de vivre reigns supreme.

Tuesday, August 11: Corn Roast

Ah, the classic corn roast party! This beloved local tradition brings together young and old to celebrate summer flavours, as singer‑songwriters set the tone for the evening with the best Quebec classics. And of course, no corn roast would be complete without enjoying fresh corn on the cob (generously buttered!), for a lively evening of music and simple, delicious fun.

Thursday, August 13: Halloween

Slip into your best (or scariest!) costumes and dive into a night where the strange and the fantastical come to life! Spooky entertainment, a mysterious atmosphere, and mask‑decorating activities will delight the whole family. To top it all off, a best costume contest will reward the most original spirits of the evening. And keep your eyes open: a flash mob could break out at any moment!

Saturday, August 15: New Country

Pull on your boots, cowboy hat and plaid shirt, and dive into pure country vibes as festivities begin at noon! Line dancing lessons, lasso throwing and a mechanical bull await in a rodeo style atmosphere.

Tuesday, August 18: Cosmos

Leave Earth with us as we blast off toward distant planets! Virtual reality space exploration and galactic face painting will transport you into a mystical, interstellar atmosphere. Keep your eyes peeled – UFOs might just make an appearance!

Thursday, August 20: Platinum Electro

Blazing DJs, neon lights and a dance floor transform the evening into an electrifying summer experience. On the agenda: fluorescent makeup, bracelet making and electro beats that keep the dance floor shaking. Let the energy take over and dance the night away in a boldly festive nighttime atmosphere.

To close out this incredible edition, it’s time to celebrate! Les Grands Feux Loto‑Québec are marking their 30th anniversary and inviting you to the biggest party of the summer starting at noon. A giant birthday cake and festive surprises await the whole family, and when night falls, Quebec City’s sky will light up like never before! For 30 minutes, be dazzled by a pyrotechnic show of exceptional scale: the biggest, boldest, and most spectacular in the history of Les Grands Feux Loto‑Québec. A grand finale you won’t want to miss!

About the Grands Feux Loto-Québec

Founded in 1995, the Grands Feux Loto-Québec present world-class pyromusical shows every summer, uniting the cities of Quebec and Levis. Fired from a barge located in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, these high-precision performances attract 1.3 million visitors each year, all eager to admire this unique spectacle lighting up an ex-traordinary setting. Since 2012, the event has been organized by Les Créations Pyro, an NPO based in Quebec City.
